I. The Bible is Literally True:
"The universe is all about the Return of the MESSIAH!"

WELCOME! This site takes the Bible literally in the details. When you write a letter to a loved one with important things to say, you don't speak mysterious tripe, but you give every effort for the loved one to understand. GOD intends for His Word to be understood; people often confuse ourselves. Our imperative necessity is to TRUST GOD (Proverbs 3:5,6)! The Creator of the universe gave us a succinct account of what He did, and some basic statements as to how HE created. We wrestle and fight with it because the fact of a CREATOR literally scares fallen man.
Each succeeding generation of humanity tends to be more "religious" and "traditional" yet more out-of-touch with the actual meaning of Bible passages. This is a historical problem, even for the "best" people, as noted in Nehemiah 8:8 where Israel had to be reminded of the "plain sense" of their own TANACH Scriptures! The Scriptures were intended for mankind to understand, so that many of us can be saved (Isaiah 1:18; I John 5:13). So the Bible should be taken literally wherever reasonably possible. On this premise, we explore the meaning of the words used in Scriptures, commonly understood to refer to the universe... and a refreshing new understanding of cosmology opens to us:
COSMOLOGY is dictionary-defined as a "philosophy" (NOT as a science)... Do YOU have the right philosophy of the universe? On this page we illustrate the powerful lightning-like, energy-releasing "Sign of the Return of the Son of Man". This ominous event is belittled and denied by fallen mankind, yet is a pervading theme of the Bible (Matthew 24:27, Luke 17:24, 2 Peter 3:10, et al).
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE LITERALLY SAY ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE UNIVERSE?? That we clearly CANNOT presently KNOW. The Bible makes it plain that the stars cannot be counted, nor the cosmos measured by mankind! (Proverbs 25:3; Jeremiah 33:22) This is logically because of the way GOD created it.
DOES THE BIBLE GIVE ANY LITERALLY UNDERSTANDABLE INFORMATION ON HOW GOD MADE THE UNIVERSE? Absolutely! We read plainly that GOD used waters to create the stuff (mass) of the universe (Genesis 1:2) and that mankind is willingly ignoring this fact (2 Peter 3:5). In light of this, look at the following literally translated passage from Job. It literally says that the universe is water-bounded and the edge separates (GOD's) Light from darkness:

חֹֽק־חָג עַל־פְּנֵי־מָיִם עַד־תַּכְלִית אֹור עִם־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃
KJV & other translations: "He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end." Job 26:10
Literal translation: "HE (GOD) has made a sphere of the waters at the terminus (end point) of light and darkness."
This verse's COSMIC context:
"He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof."
This idea of protective surrounding waters is further supported by Isaiah's statement (Isaiah 40:22) that the heavens are a "curtain" and a "tent to live in" (NOT for the Creator's preservation, but for ours!) Job 26:10 above obviously follows Job 26:8 where, besides reading about cosmic water-clouds, we are intrigued to learn that these clouds produce NO rain!
Years ago we suggested that such vast abyssal oceans of water (tehomim) would be responsible not only for red-shifting GOD's Glory Light (Isaiah 45:7: Judaism's Yotzer Ohr) but for allowing weakened, yet invading energy in deep space (energy so powerful as to baffle physicists, who are not able to explain "objects" emitting trillions of times more energy than huge stars,) while in the absence of enough hydrogen to even begin the necessary atomic reactions to emit such radiation. The late Stephen Hawking even flip-flopped on his "black hole" explanations of QSO energy, allowing us to see that even the keenest human minds are baffled by what our Creator has done!
